Computer Imaging

Communication between the patient and surgeon is vital.  You need to know that the surgeon has a firm understanding of what your expectations are, and he needs to be able to convey to you what can realistically be achieved through plastic surgery.  To that end, we are happy to include computer imaging in your consultation.

Your appearance is important, and during your consultation, Dr. Brar will listen to both your concerns about your appearance and your expectations.  With the help of computer imaging, he is able to show you a realistic image of what may be obtained with surgery.  It is important to understand that computer imaging is an educational and communication tool, and that the results seen on the computer are not a guarantee of what your individual surgical result will be; rather, it is an opportunity for you to express to Dr. Brar what you desire for your appearance, and it gives him the chance to discuss in greater detail the procedure and outcome with a visualization of the potential results.  It gives both the patient and surgeon a greater insight and understanding that aids in planning your surgery.

During your consultation, Dr. Brar will take a digital photo of you and load it onto his computer.  Using imaging software, he will be able show you on a high-resolution monitor a fair prediction of what results you might be able to expect.

Chances are you have stood in front of a mirror and pulled the skin tighter on your face to see how you look without a sagging neck, or imagined how you would look with a smaller nose or without the bags under your eyes. With computer imaging you can see yourself without jowls and crow’s feet, or with a better defined nose that is in balance with the rest of your face.   Computer imaging can give you a glimpse of what you can now only imagine!
