Facelift

The procedure of a facelift is to tighten jowls and loose skin of the cheeks and neck and smoothen facial wrinkles.  Surgery can be done under conscious sedation anesthesia (“twilight sleep.”)  A facelift gives the face and neck a more rejuvenated and youthful appearance and turns back the clock many years.  Generally, scars are very fine and placed in areas where they are the least visible.  The scars fade with the passage of time.  Cosmetic facial surgeries are done as outpatient procedures.

For the last few years, Dr. Brar has been doing short scar facelifts.  The scars are less and the recovery is quicker.  Short scar facelift are particularly beneficial for women who like to wear their hair shorter or up, as well as for men since men generally have short hair and don’t wear make up.
