About Our Office

Vancouver Plastic Surgery Clinic was founded in 1974 by Dr. Brar, although he has been in practice much longer. We are located at 3100 Main Street in Vancouver, Washington.  Ours is a small clinic.  We don’t have arched doorways, marble columns or expensive artwork gracing our walls; what we do have is a very caring, dedicated and experienced staff.

Our office manager, Susan, has been with us for 25 years.  She is a Vancouver native, having grown up in the same neighborhood where she now works.   Dr. Brar’s surgical assistant, Pat, CORT, has also been with us for 25 years.   She is a dedicated certified operating room technician who drives to work from Oregon City.  Kathleen, RN, BSN is our OR circulating and recovery room nurse who has been on staff for 12 years.  She travels from Stevenson, Washington to care for our surgery patients.  Kathleen is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and a proud veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
Safety is our biggest concern, and as such, we are one of the few ambulatory surgery facilities in the area that offers patients the choice of conscious sedation (twilight sleep) or general anesthesia.  Over the years and with the help of national experts, Dr. Brar has learned to do facelifts, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tucks without general anesthesia, although general anesthesia is available for those patients who prefer it.  The use of conscious sedation either totally eliminates or markedly reduces the serious complications associated with general anesthesia.

Our emphasis is on quality, not quantity, and as such we may only do one or two surgical cases a day.  As we have our own surgical suite on site, we can afford to give every patient the time and attention they deserve.  Nothing gives us greater pleasure than a beautiful result and happy patient.
